Birthday Offering – In 1922 a women challenged the women of the local Presbyterian church to give an offering of a penny for each year of her life in order to support a girl’s school in Japan. Now, forward to 2018 when a penny doesn’t go very far!
On Sunday, May 6th the PW will be receiving this offering which will help with three major grants—Cottage Village in Oregon, Village of Grace Center for Physical & Spiritual Health in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and the Dwelling Place in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. (Information on the projects can be found on the church’s website page.
