PW Spring Gathering & Birthday Offering
All Women and Girls Invited
Ladies, break out your hats! Tea and sandwiches will be served at the Presbyterian Women’s Spring Gathering on Sunday, May 7, after church. Tea aficionado Betsy Maxwell, Linda Myer’s sister-in-law, will discuss tea traditions and her experiences with teas in England. A short business meeting will be included. Please RSVP to Nancy Hess (419-806-4788 or email@example.com).
The Birthday Offering will be collected at the Spring Gathering as well. This year it will support the work of three different organizations. One focusing on medical supplies in Cuba, another building a new domestic violence shelter in South Carolina and a third building a running water system on a Navajo reservation. Envelopes are available in the church office and/or on the Presbyterians Women’s table in the Fellowship Hall.
Kindred Spirits will meet on Monday, may 8 at 7 p.m. at the home of Linda Myers (1020 Gustin Ave). This is our last meeting until September and we will be winding up our study of “Who is Jesus” with a look at Contemporary cultural Interpretations. Please join us for study, food and fellowship.
Wine, Women, and Wisdom (WWW) is a group of women that meets once a month to enjoy each other’s company, share refreshments, and look for wisdom in our varied discussions.
