Staying Sane During Political Insanity w/ Rev. Katie Treadway in Fellowship Hall
Rev. Katie Treadway is the pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Tiffin, Ohio, a recently-licensed clinical counselor, and my co-leader for Bible Study at Camp Rejoice this past summer. Her pastoral spirit pairs with her clinical insights to help her nurture folks through the anxieties, depressions, sublimations, and maladaptive habits that plague us all when we’re under stress. And, for this year at least, one of the greatest stressors is around politics and the presidential election. To be clear, this discussion will be about us – our mental health, our well-being – more than it is about politics, per se. But if you’ve ever found your mood change, your heart rate increase, your blood boil, your eyes weep, and/or your fists clench when hearing this or that political news report, then learning from Rev. Treadway this evening is for you.
