They are asking the congregation to donate toiletries, personnel hygiene items, etc., along with monetary donations to aid the First Christian Church of Bowling Green in their efforts to serve those less fortunate.
Each month, the First Christian Church invites all to take advantage of a drive through meal. Groceries and toiletries are also included. Those toiletries will be collected at our church and delivered to the First Christian Church each week. All monetary donations will be used to purchase those items through an account established with Dollar Tree. Details are still being worked out.
From the Deacons: Our monthly donations to First Christian Church are greatly appreciated and needed. On Sept. 9th, they distributed 115 meals and ran out of many personal items that people use. The next meals and hygiene distribution will be on Friday, October 14th. Please continue to bring in your donations but especially needed are paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, ladies’ small incontinence products, toothpaste, and baby diapers (all sizes).
