First Presbyterian Church members welcome and affirm persons of every race, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, ethnicity, family status, economic status, and physical, mental, or emotional ability into full participation in our faith community. As such, we are thrilled to support our community members in achieving Mental Health for All for 2021!
NAMI is the largest grassroots organization for mental health awareness and community assistance. They fund various community-based programs, fundraisers, and educational resources for families and individuals affected by mental illness. They additionally provide speakers, support groups, connections to assistance programs, and trainings affiliated with mental health and substance use. To help with the various programs at NAMI, First Presbyterian Church needs to raise at least $1,000 as an organization with the NAMI Walk on May 22nd, 2021 at 10 am.
First Presbyterian’s organization donation page is – https://www.namiwalks.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.team&teamID=41528.
The NAMI Walk starts at Simpson Garden Park at 10 am, and should end around 11:15 again at Simpson Garden Park.
