Rock ’em Sock ’em Retro fundraising event . . .
Sunday, October 13th (today) from 2 – 5pm BGO Pride will be hosting an open-play at Rock ’em Sock ’em
We’d love to have you join us! We welcome all who are seeking an active, engaged church dedicated to sharing the Good News with a world in need of God’s peace, love, forgiveness and justice. The decision to join us should be made prayerfully and intentionally. To that end, First Presbyterian offers membership classes for those who are considering membership or who are ready to join the church.
Pastor Jeff and members of our Session (the church’s nine elected leaders who serve for a three-year term) will be honored to meet with you to hear your faith story, share our stories and outline the rich reformed heritage of the Presbyterian Church and, particularly, FPC BG.
Meet with the Church’s Elders (Session) so they can get to know you more and why you wish to join us.
The Sunday following your meeting with the elders, you will be welcomed by the congregation during the 10:00 am worship service. Following a worship, a reception is offered to allow new and old members the chance for fellowship.
We are a community of believers who worship and serve God in a changing world. Our congregation fosters relationships with Bowling Green University faculty, students and staff. We welcome and affirm persons of every race, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, ethnicity, family status, economic status, and physical, mental, or emotional ability into full participation in our faith community.
