Come As You Are

Come as you are. Everyone is welcome for who they are. You don’t have to dress fancy or wear a suit or dress. We just want you to be with us where we are! So, why not giving us a try? Worship with us next week.

Worship starts at 10am on Sundays!

Anything BUT Stodgy

Our services have been described as “warmly formal”. We have liturgy and follow the Revised Common Lectionary, but we are anything but stodgy. We are “creatively traditional”. We respect our church’s traditions but are also excited to see how the Holy Spirit moves us in creative ways.

Parking

On Sunday mornings, many park in the business parking lot across Church Street, which offers access to the front steps. A smaller parking lot facing the Grove Street entrance has accessible parking spaces and spaces set aside specifically for visitors. Others do park at the newly constructed Wood County Senior Citizen’s Center

Children in worship

Children, like all people, are welcome in worship. The squeaks, the shrieks – all of it! We believe that God put the wiggle in children, so we hope that you will not worry. If, however, you would prefer that they be in a different space during worship, we do offer a nursery for infants – 3 year-olds.

Children age 3 through 2nd grade are invited to attend Junior Church following Moment for Education. This offers a special worship experience for children. They return to the worship service for the final hymn.

Accessibility

We have one main accessible entrance – our Grove Street entrance. This entrance is equipped with an automatic door and leads right to the elevator which reaches every floor.

The church building has bathroom facilities for men/women as well as gender-neutral restrooms.

We can also accommodate the hard of hearing, with hearing amplifiers and headphones. Please ask an usher for details.

WHO WE ARE

We are a loving and caring community of faith, located in the heart of Bowling Green, Ohio where Christ Welcomes All. As thoughtful followers of Christ committed to empathy, reflection and outreach, we gather together for worship, fellowship and service. We include all ages in our ministries. We have a deep love for music, mission and social justice, with a highly devoted congregation welcoming and caring deeply for all people within and beyond its walls.

Our congregation is one of the nearly 13,000 similar congregations spread across the United States that, together, make up the Presbyterian Church (USA).
