Welcome Heather McEwen Goldman as our new organist/accompanist starting August 1st! Heather grew up in Bowling Green, active in the First Presbyterian Church youth group. As a young pianist in BG, Heather accompanied the choirs at BGHS and then BGSU, and had her concerto debut with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra.
She and her husband, Ted, moved to New York and away from music in college, taught math for a few years, and returned to music at the Eastman Conservatory for a Masters in Collaborative Piano. Along the way, she taught yoga, knit many hats, and swam competitively.
A few moves and two children later (McEwen-6, & Robin-3), Heather is back in Bowling Green, homeschooling her kids and biking around town. She is glad to be back at First Pres!
